The Schwinn brand has gone through a number of changes over the past several years. The brand is tagged on some high quality commercial products such as spin bikes and airdynes. The brand is also used on some very budget conscious bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills. We wouldn't suggest the quality of these products represent what the company once stood for. With all said, for the money, the Schwinn products are to be considered. We would recommend their machines to an entry level user.
Schwinn currently offers 4 different recumbent bikes. The model we stock is the Schwinn 240 Recumbent. The 240 is the heaviest bike within their lineup with also the longest frame. A heavier bike and longer frame are good for stability. The 240 also offers wide ride pedals, a clear computer screen, a water bottle holder, and more programs.
